Greetings! This site is a work-in-progress. In this early phase, it is primarily a space to showcase the history research completed by St. Mary’s University undergraduates since the Sankofa initiative began 8 semesters ago. This site stores most of the films that St. Mary’s history students have produced for each semester’s MobileMural. The films are categorized as follows: Texas History, U.S. History to 1877, U.S. History from 1877, and Latin American History. These films were designed with an audience of secondary school students in mind, and they invite St. Mary’s alumni who now teach in secondary schools to share these films with their students. Congratulations to these new filmmakers as they hone skills of historical research and interpretation and master the software available for sharing their findings with the public.
